BBQ CHAMPIONS
Big Daddy's BBQ Sauce & Spices Championship BBQ Teams, The Lil Pit Of Heaven and The Lil Pit Of Heaven Too, have been busy lately winning cooking competitions across the state of Texas!
On May 12-13, 2000, Connie Baker took the "The Lil Pit Of Heaven" to Electra, Texas. At that competition the required meats included brisket, ribs, chicken and goat. Connie and "The Lil Pit Of Heaven" took the overall "GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP" of the event!
On May 19-20, 2000 Dortha Baker took "The Lil Pit Of Heaven Too" to Groesbeck, Texas. Dortha ran away with the competition, claiming first place with her brisket, ribs and chicken. With the three first place finishes she easily won the "GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP" of that event!
