The Permatex Sprint 100's began the second half of their season Saturday night at Placerville Speedway. Max Niemann in the Big Daddy's BBQ Sauce/ Carquest/ Permatex sponsored sprint car had his most successful night of racing this season.
Max finished second in his heat after falling to the back of the field due to a spin while in a 3 way race for the lead.
In the main event the #8 BIg Daddy's, Smalley Racing machine started started 7th in the 21 car field. At the end Max had his highest main event finish of the season by placing 5th. The four cars ahead of him have accounted for the last 8 main event wins.
The points gained bring Max back up to10th in points for the season. Seven races remain on the Permatex Sprint 100's schedule. The series will return to Placerville Speedway July 15. The series moves on to Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA July 22 and ends July with an event a Twin Cities Speedway in Marysville, CA July 29
