Ronnie Burkett Battles To Sixth Place Finish In Louisville Qualifying in nineteenth position did nothing to squelch the competitive nerve of Ronnie Burkett. Burkett drove his Big Daddy's BBQ Sauce and Spices/Havana Cola/Carrera Chocks, Monte Carlo, into third place going into Lap 180 at the NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series at the Louisville Motor Speedway in Louisville, Kentucky. Due to adverse conditions, Burkett lost a lap in the pits. Other drivers met the same conditions, allowing Burkett to battle back to a solid sixth place finish. Ronnie Burkett of Burkett Racing, Inc., headquartered in Sanford, Florida, remains in fourth place in Series Points in the NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series after this race. |
